Down In The Tube Station At Midnight was the second single taken from the band's third album, All Mod Cons.
Weller had to be persuaded by the album's producer, Vic Coppersmith Heaven to include it on the record as he didn't think it was 'ready'.
It was the groups second top 20 'hit'. The then Radio 1 DJ, Tony Blackburn felt the need to complain that, "It's disgusting the way punks sing about violence. Why can't they sing about trees and flowers?"
The Tube station pictured on the seven inch release is Bond Street.
Printed on 250 gsm matt paper the poster is available in four size and three frame colour options, black, white and wood.
The frames we use are made from solid wood, sourced from a sustainable forest.
